The Fender Champion 600 is a 5 watt tube amp. It comes with one 6 inch speaker with a 1950s style. This newer model includes a preamp circuit with a higher gain with more choices of gain inputs. It includes an internal speaker jack so you can use a larger cabinet. This tube amp pays tribute to the Champion amp from the 40's and 50's. It comes with 5W output power, 2 channels, high and low gain inputs, 6" spear, and one 12AX7 preamp and one 6V6 power amp tubes. It comes from the Fender Vintage Modified Series.
This amp is reissued from it’s original series in the early 50’s. It has low to medium gain; this is not a performance amp, it’s a practice amp. It’s not meant to be ridiculously loud. However, as practice amps go, the Fender champion 600 is fantastic. This amp is simple, which is what makes it great. It has an on/off switch, low and high input, red light, and 1-12 volume knob. It’s small, but weights about 15 pounds.
This is solid and durable amp. The front faceplate is metal with a leather strap. Very high quality. If you want a basic amp that’s inexpensive, well built, high quality, and for practice the Champion 600 is the amp you should get.
The sound on the 600 Champion Fender Amp is excellent. It doesn’t have great volume, but it has great quality. For $200, the Fender champion 600 amplifier is the best amp you can buy.
